How Do You Turn on the Electric in Ponte Vedra?

But before you unpack, you’ll need to get your electricity turned on.

Power in the area is provided by Beaches Energy. Contact them at 904-247-6241 or [email protected] to have your electric power turned on. 

How to Turn the Water On?

To apply for new water and sewer service in Ponte Vedra, you will need to call the Utility Department office in St. Augustine at (904) 209-2700. This requires a $100 deposit. The office is based in St. Augustine.

DID YOU KNOW? You can make a right turn on a red light in St John’s County or anywhere in Florida for that matter.

Where is the Best Shopping in Ponte Vedra Beach?

When just getting into town, it’s important to locate important stores such as the food store and drug store closest to you. You’ll be glad to know Publix, Winn Dixie, CVS and Walgreens all have several locations within the city limits.

Sawgrass Village Shopping Center is a world class shopping center with famous names such Berkshire – Hathaway and Chicos as well as some wonderful restaurants ranging from diner fair to gourmet, all under one roof. The shops are located at:

Nocatee Town Center is located at 120 Marketside Avenue, is anchored by a Publix and boasts an assortment of retail boutiques and restaurants featuring Yobe, Starbucks, Tijuana Flats and Orange Theory.

How Do I Forward Mail to My New Address?

Just inform the post office online or visit the local post office at 130 Corridor Rd and request a Mover’s Guide packet which includes the new address form – PS Form 3575.

FACT – Florida’s new ‘no texting and driving law’ just went into effect in January 2020, so it is important that you not text and drive on Solano Road or anywhere else in Ponte Vedra or Jacksonville or you could be pulled over by the state troopers or police dept!

The town is also very close to history St. Augustine and of course Jacksonville, where you can see NFL football and other national sporting events, enjoy international gourmet cuisine and international shopping.
